By Aaron Humes: The City was visited by violence for the first time in some weeks on Sunday night.
Police found Andrew Welch, 22, of Rivero Street with an apparent gunshot wound, while 18-year-old Trayson Gibson had already been taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.
Initial investigation revealed that both men were socializing on the street side at a residence on Rivero Street, Belize City, when two men on a motorcycle passed and opened fire in their direction.
Gibson died on arrival while Welch remains in a stable condition at KHMH. Police are investigating.
