By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Caribbean Tire Football League (CTFL) has announced the postponement of its semifinals and finals matches at Spanish Lookout until January 2025 due to weather conditions and the upcoming December holidays.
In a statement, the CTFL expressed regret for any inconvenience caused by the postponement and extended their gratitude for the community’s understanding and support. The decision aims to ensure the safety and comfort of players, officials, and fans during the holiday season and amidst challenging weather.
“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding,” the CTFL stated.
“We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Stay safe, and we’ll see you in January.”
The semifinals feature Falcons FC facing Vanilla Hills FC and W&J Home Cons tackling Billy White FC. So far, the only semifinal played was the first leg between Falcons and Vanilla Hills which the Falcons took 1-0 on December 10.
