By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Mysterious drone sightings have been reported across the U.S., including in metro Atlanta, Fox reports.
These flying objects, first spotted in the northeastern U.S. before Thanksgiving, have sparked concern among some residents, although federal officials insist there is no public safety threat.
The FBI and other agencies are investigating the reports, which do not appear to involve national security or foreign actors.
In Cobb County, a local resident described seeing large drones with flashing lights, raising suspicions about potential surveillance.
Federal officials, including the FBI, have stated that there is no evidence of a security threat, but urged the public to report sightings to local police or the FAA.
The mystery continues as authorities investigate whether these are indeed drones or other misidentified flying objects.
