Key partners gathered to discuss actionable steps for addressing the recommendations from the latest U.S. Trafficking in Persons Report.
Foreign Affairs Officer Harold Jahnsen provided technical background on preparing the annual report during the proceedings.
The U.S. Embassy in Belmopan reaffirmed its strong commitment to supporting Belize in the fight against human trafficking, highlighting the importance of continued collaboration both locally and globally.
“Together, we can make meaningful strides in protecting vulnerable individuals and ensuring justice for those affected by human trafficking,” the U.S. Embassy said.
