By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The “Just a Dollar” drive, organized by San Ignacio business owner Passy Haylock, has successfully raised over $25,000 to support the families of those affected by Saturday night’s tragic accident.
In honor of the victims, the Cayo community joined efforts and contributed to the cause.
Today, Haylock handed over $2140.50 to each family member of the victims.
In addition, Haylock also handed over the donations to the family of Janeli and Frank Burns who remain hospitalized.
Community leaders urge continued prayers for Janeli and Frank Burns.
The community stands in solidarity, offering prayers for their swift and full recovery.
