By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The “Just a Dollar” drive, organized by San Ignacio business owner Passy Haylock, has successfully raised over $18,000 to support the families of those affected by Saturday night’s tragic accident.
In honor of the victims, the Cayo community gathered for a candlelight vigil last night, remembering those who lost their lives in the tragedy.
Community leaders are also urging continued prayers for Janeli and Frank Burns, who remain hospitalized after the horrific incident. The community stands in solidarity, offering prayers for their swift and full recovery.
