By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Last night, the communities of San Ignacio and Santa Elena came together for a heartfelt candlelight vigil to honor the 10 individuals who tragically lost their lives in a traffic accident on Saturday night along the Benque Viejo Road.
During the vigil, Minister Orlando Habet, Councilor Aaron Mai, Mayor Earl Trapp, and Minister Michel Chebat expressed their deepest condolences to the grieving families.
Reverend Lawrence Mangar and Pastor Tzib led the community in prayer, asking God to provide comfort and strength to the families and friends affected by this heartbreaking loss.
In a show of solidarity, the community has also united with local business owner Passy Haylock, who has launched a fundraising drive to support the families of the victims.
