By Horace Palacio: Residents and visitors of Belize can look forward to another day of pleasant weather, according to the National Meteorological Service. A northerly airflow continues to bring mainly fair conditions across the country.

Today, expect sunny skies with some cloudy intervals. Temperatures will be warm, reaching a high of 82°F (28°C) along the coast, 84°F (29°C) inland, and a comfortable 72°F (22°C) in the hills. Shower activity will be isolated.

Tonight, skies will be partly cloudy with continued isolated showers.

Mariners can expect choppy seas with north-northeasterly winds blowing at 5-15 knots.

The extended forecast for Tuesday and Tuesday night predicts generally fair weather with isolated showers, except for the south where a few more showers can be expected.

No tropical cyclone formation is expected in the North Atlantic, Caribbean Sea, or Gulf of Mexico within the next 48 hours.
