By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, Mayor of Benque Viejo del Carmen Jorge Rosales informed of a temporary exit road since the highway is impassable due to flooding.
Mayor Rosales says that the temporary exit is as follows:
Up to Mopan Technical High School
Left on Leon St.
Up by Vega’s St.
Left to the bakery near Alvaro Cunil residence
Up hill and exit to San Jose Succotz
This temporary passing is to be used until further notice.
