By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, the Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Technology, Francis Fonseca visited Ladyville Technical High School and met with 5 students who are members of the schools Robotics Club.
The students recently returned to Belize after placing 2nd in the 2024 Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Challenge for Latin America and the Caribbean.
“A remarkable and historic achievement for this Government Secondary Institution.
The team developed a hand controlled robotic glove to assist persons recovering from a stroke to better communicate,” Minister Fonseca said.
“We are very proud of these students, their Principal, Vice Principal and their entire school,” Minister Fonseca added.
