By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating a shooting incident on Tuesday evening in Belize City.
At around 8:45 pm, a female named Mary Flowers was shot in the neck at Santa Barbara Street, Belize City. She was taken to Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for treatment.
It was reported that she was leaving the house of her daughter’s father when she heard gunshots and felt a burning sensation in her neck. A house nearby also sustained damage from gunshots.
The investigation is ongoing.
