By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Janice Combs, mother of Sean “Diddy” Combs, has released a statement in support of her son amid his legal troubles, which include federal sex trafficking charges and multiple civil lawsuits.
According to Yahoo News, Janice described the scrutiny surrounding her son as a “public lynching,”
Janice expressed sadness over the allegations and emphasized his right to “prove his innocence” in court.
“It is heartbreaking to see my son judged not for the truth, but for a narrative created out of lies,” Janice said, acknowledging that while her son is not perfect, he deserves a fair chance.
Janice criticized the interpretation of Diddy’s settlement with Cassie as an admission of guilt, arguing that it has fueled further accusations against him.
“Watching the world make jokes and laugh at my son’s life crumbling before our eyes is something I can never forget,” said Janice Combs.
“It is truly agonizing to watch the world turn against my son so quickly and easily over lies and misconceptions, without ever hearing his side or affording him the opportunity to present his side.”
Janice concluded by praying for the day her son can share his truth and be vindicated.
