By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Under-15 Belize Girls National Team (BGNT) will be travelling to Trinidad and Tobago on Saturday, August 3, to compete in the fifth edition of the Concacaf Girls’ U-15 Championship (League B), from August 5-11, 2024, according to Football Federation of Belize (FFB) Technical Director Philip Marin.
The 18 girls that comprise the U-15 BGNT were presented on Wednesday at the FFB Headquarters in Belmopan.
The U-15 BGNT will be facing Honduras, Cuba, and Barbados in Group E.
Belize will open against Honduras at 1:00 pm on Monday, August 5. They will then face Cuba on Tuesday, August 6, at 3:00 pm. Their final math will pit them against Barbados at 1:00 pm on Thursday, August 8.
Marin said the Under-15 Belize Girls National Team (BGNT) have been training under the guidance of Head Coach Joseph Waight, since March when the first trials were held at the FFB Stadium in Belmopan.
Concacaf said the games will be available through Concacaf Go.
