By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On Thursday, July 11, 2024, the Eastern (Police) Division, Division One, held their one-day Senior Officers Workshop at the Pavilion, Old Belize.
The event saw the participation of senior police officers within the Eastern Division. Officers from the Northern Region also joined them.
During the workshop, several topics were facilitated, including a self-assessment exercise, communication skills, interpersonal skills, empathy, conflict resolution, human behavior, team building and development, motivating employees, diversity and inclusion, and time management.
The Belize Police Department also recognized exemplary officers with the Leadership Award, Team Player Award, Community-Oriented Award, and Best Motivational Award.
The BPD thanked Cherese Ferguson and Luanne Daniels for doing an exceptional job facilitating the workshop.
