Rangers battling wildfires near San Antonio Village, Cayo

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Rangers continue to battle wildfires inside the Elijio Panti National Park.

This morning, rangers detected a fire near the pipeline of San Antonio, Cayo.

“Our Rangers investigated this morning and reported that the fire is now approximately 200 meters from the main pipeline,” the rangers said.

In addition, residents are urged to take action before the fire reaches the waterline.

Rangers are on the ground and are asking volunteers to help them battle the fire.
