Newly improved Otoxha Health Post includes solar pump, panels

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Ministry of Rural Transformation showcased the transformation of the Otoxha, Toledo Health Post, a testament to collaboration and dedication.

“Thanks to the joint efforts of the Ministry of Rural Transformation (MRT) and UNICEF, supported by generous funding from the Republic of Korea, this vital hub now boasts a comprehensive upgrade,” the Ministry said.

The improved Health post now includes reliable access to clean water, integration of solar pump, panels, and essential components for renewable energy.

In addition, an elevated concrete stand was constructed and a 10k liter tank to ensure efficient water storage.

The project also included plumbing upgrades to enhance functionality and sustainability and repairs and refreshing repainting of the building for a welcoming and vibrant space.

Four solar street lights were also installed for enhanced safety and accessibility.
