By Rubén Morales Iglesias: G-Flow’s Jyven Gonzalez won the 2nd Annual Alfred Parks Cycling Race – Ketch di Bull fi meh! on Sunday with an impressive time of 3 hours, 45 minutes, and 53 seconds (3:45:53).
The race started at 8:00 am at Cotton Tree on the George Price Highway, headed to La Loma Luz Boulevard roundabout in Santa Elena where it made a u-turn to Belize City finishing at Leslie’s Imports.
Kulture/SPD’s Kent Bob Gabourel took second place followed by Valvoline’s Oscar Quiroz in third place.
Alliance United’s Byron Pope finished fourth and Rolling Shattaz’s Wasani Castro was fifth.
The Men Juniors and the Women Elite rode from Roaring Creek to Belize City while the Men and Women Youths went from Rockville to Belize City. All finished at Leslie’s Imports.
The next race will be the 43rd Westrac Annual Belmopan Cycling Classic on Sunday, March 3. The race starts at 8:00 am at the Westrac Compound in Belize City.
