Ministry of Agriculture supports Healthy living initiative in Bullet Tree Village

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Ministry of Agriculture is proud to contribute to the healthy living initiative at Bullet Tree Falls Adventist School.

The initiative is being led by Mr. Castillo and the school administration.

Through hands-on activities like planting seedlings, students not only cultivate wellness but also nurture their potential as future farmers.

“By providing seedlings, we empower the next generation of farmers to grow their own food, fostering values of health and sustainability that will guide them throughout their lives,” the Ministry said.

This collaborative effort includes an in-school competition to promote healthy food habits and sustainable living practices among students.

“By engaging in planting activities, students develop essential skills and gain firsthand experience in agriculture, contributing to the future well-being of Belize,” the Ministry added.

The Ministry reiterated its commitment to nurturing these future farmers and advancing food security, healthy lifestyles, and environmental sustainability across the nation.
