Police looking for Amado Badillo as a person of interest in obtaining property by deception case

By Aaron Humes: Police have asked to kindly be on the lookout for one Amado Badillo, 40, the owner of Prestige Auto Sales Company in Belize City, who is wanted as a person of interest in a case where obtaining property by deception is alleged.

As we reported earlier, a Caye Caulker resident reported to Police that he lost $65,000 last year in trying to buy a Ford Ranger XLT pickup truck, and he was promised that the truck would be transferred after repairing minor mechanical defects. However, the victim claims the pickup truck was never delivered or his money returned.

The incident is being investigated by Crime Investigation Branch (CIB) in Precinct Four, based in the Belama Phase One area of Northside Belize City. If Badillo is seen he is to be detained and either CIB Precinct Four or the nearest Police Station is to be informed.
