Infamous street figure Kenneth “Big Tom” Flowers convicted of possession of pipe used for smoking crack cocaine

By Aaron Humes: Formerly accused of numerous charges including murder in both the United States and Belize, street figure and self-identified businessman, Kenneth Flowers, alias “Big Tom,” was convicted for possession of a pipe used for smoking crack cocaine.

Flowers had managed to avoid headlines after walking from a charge of procuring defilement of persons a few years ago, but today wasted no time and pleaded guilty to the offense and agreed with the police facts which were read out in court.

On Wednesday, January 17, while Police officers were doing routine patrol on Oleander Street, they met Flowers riding a bicycle in front of the mobile they were traveling in. Police stopped him and conducted a search on him for illegal drugs, firearms, and ammunition.

Police say that during the search, their attention was drawn to the fact that Flowers who was told to place his hands up in the air, had one of his hands like he was grasping something.

That’s when the officer grabbed his hand, opened it, and in the palm of his hand, saw it was a metal pipe measuring 2 1/2 inches in length.

Flowers was fined $300 plus cost of court to be paid by April 15, 2024, in default, 3 months’ imprisonment.
