By Breaking Belize News Staff: The trio of men remanded to prison for the 2023 murder of Gabriel Tillet were back in court on Tuesday, but when the prosecution failed to provide disclosure in the case, the court said it would only allow one final adjournment for the prosecution to do so.

Samuel Halliday, Robert Lamb and Kenrick Lanza appeared in court on Tuesday expecting disclosure in their case after 6 months on remand. Instead, the prosecution informed the court that they didn’t even have the case file for the matter because it had been forwarded to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecution and had not yet been sent back.

The case was further adjourned until February 28, when the disclosure is expected to be presented.

Gabriel Tillet was found dead in the Lord Ridge Cemetery in Belize City on July 4, 2023 and was identified by his brother. Surveillance cameras from the area were reviewed, leading to the arrests of Halliday, Lamb and Lanza.
