By Aaron Humes: On this night before Christmas, a Belize City man failed to make it to midnight, while another is spending Christmas in the hospital.
Preliminary reports from police sources say that the two men were shot on Maskall Street in Belize City. One of the men has been pronounced dead while the other has been taken to Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. Breaking Belize News (BBN) is aware of the dead victim’s name but we are witholding it until family members have been informed.
The circumstances of the shooting are not presently known and more details will be passed on as they become available.
