By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts mostly cloudy skies with some showers, periods of rain and isolated thunderstorms around the country, but especially coastal areas.
Average temperatures forecast today will be 81 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 83 degrees inland and 70 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 76 degrees along the coast, 68 degrees inland and 62 degrees in the hills.
Winds will be easterly to northeasterly at 10 to 20 knots, and sea state moderate to rough. A small craft caution remains in effect for coastal waters for gusty winds and locally rough seas near heavy showers and thunderstorms. An excessive rainfall watch is in effect.
Tides will be high at 10:12 this morning and 9:03 this evening. A low tide occurs at 2:58 this afternoon.
The sun sets at 5:19 this evening and rises at 6:13 Wednesday morning.
On Wednesday expect a few showers, periods of rain and isolated thunderstorms. These decrease Wednesday night.
