By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Belize is set to become the epicenter of regional volleyball action as it proudly hosts the VII U-23 Women’s Central American Volleyball Championship from July 20 to 24, 2025, at the Belize City Civic Center. The regional tournament will bring together five national teams from across Central America, featuring the region’s rising stars in women’s volleyball.
Team Belize, led by a promising roster of young talent, will face off against squads from Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, and Panama in a round-robin format. Each day will feature two matches, with the host nation playing in the evening slot to maximize local support and fan engagement.
The Civic Center is expected to be buzzing with energy as fans rally behind Team Belize. With Costa Rica and Nicaragua absent this year, the competition is wide open, and Belize has a golden opportunity to make a deep run.
Each evening match features Team Belize, giving fans a prime-time opportunity to cheer on the home squad.
