40-year-old man given two months in jail for slapping 13-year-old boy

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A 40-year-old man, Wilfred Stanley, is serving a two month sentence at the Belize Central Prison for slapping a 13-year-old boy in the face.

Stanley appeared in court on Thursday and plead guilty to a charge of common assault. He was sentenced to two months for his guilty plea.

The minor reported to his mother, and then to police, that on February 18, he was walking on a street in the Raccoon Street extension area when he walked passed Stanley who uttered some words to him then swan his hand and slapped him in the face.
