By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Agriculture (MAFSE) said Friday that 25 women from nine cooperatives countrywide completed a one-week value-adding course at Central Farm, Cayo District. MAFSE said the women ranges from youths to adults.
“The training comes as part of the project Empowering Women and Youth to generate income through Agro Processing and Value Addition of locally grown seasonal fruits and vegetables, supported by the Ministry of Agriculture Food Security and Enterprise,” MAFSE said in a social media post.
The 25 women were acknowledged with Certificates of Participation.
