By Rubén Morales Iglesias: This morning, the 2035 Holy Saturday Cross Country Cycling Classic near Teakettle, Belize, has been nothing short of electrifying. As of 7:53 am, Venezuelan José Alarcón, Guatemalan Joshua Canastuj, and British rider Chris Lockwood of the Miami Blazers were fiercely working together to bridge the gap to the leading duo—Colombian David Abreo Castaño and American Alex Bueno. The trio is currently about 30 seconds behind the leaders, showcasing incredible determination and teamwork.

Meanwhile, the main peloton, consisting of approximately 35 riders, trails the breakaway group by 45 seconds. Behind them, a larger peloton is steadily closing in.

The riders are navigating through challenging terrain and unpredictable conditions, making this a true test of endurance and strategy. Fans and spectators are eagerly watching to see if the chasing group can catch up to the leaders or if the larger peloton will manage to close the gap and shake up the race dynamics.
