By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The 2025 ATLIB National Track & Field Championship, originally set for Saturday, was postponed due to the rainy weather that has been affecting Belize City since midweek.
The national athletics championship, originally set for last Saturday, was postponed due to inclement weather.
Hosted by St. John’s College Junior College, the championship will showcase the talents of student-athletes from various institutions, including Galen University, Independence Junior College, University of Belize, San Pedro Junior College, and SJCJC. Athletes and fans are eagerly anticipating a thrilling lineup of events, from high-speed sprints to javelin throws.
The rescheduled championship promises to be a showcase of talent and determination, with student-athletes competing in various track and field events. Fans are encouraged to come out and support their favorite athletes as they strive for excellence.
