By Aaron Humes: Police have arrested an 18-year-old fisherman, Shenyon Levi Barrow, in connection with the recent murder of 21-year-old Floyd McFadzean, which occurred on March 21. Barrow has been formally charged with murder, along with two counts of attempted murder, dangerous harm, grievous bodily harm, and two counts related to the use of deadly means of harm.
McFadzean and three other men were traveling in a vehicle early on Friday morning when they came under fire on Cemetery Road. The vehicle ended up crashing on Johnson Street with McFadzean dying at the scene.
Another man, Jaheim Bent, fled the area but wound up collapsed on Tigris Street while Deon Gladden has since been treated and released and Troy Gentle is listed in stable condition. Police transported both to the hospital.
Police reports suggested more than one shooter was involved and their investigations continue.
