By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating an alleged sexual assault of a 12-year-old female minor in southern Belize.
The ongoing investigation commenced earlier this month. The female, who was accompanied by a social worker and a family member, reported that during October and November 2025, two of her brothers allegedly had sexual relations with her on several occasions, while her stepfather allegedly sexually assaulted her.
Investigation into this matter continues.
